SPANISH CONVERSATION CLASSES
Classes are geared to teach you PRACTICAL Spanish
you can immediately put to use in the real world.

LOCATION: Classes are held in my San Miguel de Allende home-

SMALL GROUPS - Series of 3 weeks, TWICE per week; 1 1/2 hours ea.
Consists of a minimum of 6 students to a maximum of 10.
Tuition: $90 USD or $1120 pesos for 6 classes
(that's only $10/hr!)

SEMI-PRIVATE - One-hour session. Consists of 2-3 students.
Great way to catch up when needed; cost effective
Tuition: $16 USD or $200 pesos per student.
PRIVATE SESSION - Serious focus on specific needs to "turbo charge" your Spanish!
Perfect for extra support, professional needs, or learn at a faster pace.
Tuition: $35 USD or $450pesos. One-hour focused session.
NOTE: Many folks choose to combine a group class with a semi or private lesson
for additional support, or to learn faster.
What do you mean: "I didn't do my homework" ?
Currently, there are 4 levels:

for additional support, or to learn faster.
What do you mean: "I didn't do my homework" ?
Currently, there are 4 levels:
Beginner 1: Introduction to conversation. Little to no previous Spanish exposure. Present tense of AR, ER, IR
verbs, weather vocab., ordering at restaurants, basic sentence structure.
Intro to magic verbs (you'll love these) and their connections.
Beginner 2: Continue building foundation; review material above. Introduce irregular verbs in present tense, present
progressive. Sound less like a student, more like a person! Intro the past tense (preterit), past
progressive, build every-day vocabulary for real-life situations.
Intermediate 1: Introduce imperfect tense; usage of preterit vs. imperfect, direct and indirect object, expand
vocabulary. Gain confidence in sounding like a person, incorporate slang, colloquialisms, etc. Read
articles and discuss, role-play, play games, learn songs, get past your blocks!
Intermediate 2: Reflexive verbs and pronouns; really work imperfect vs. preterit. Review all previous work. We
can stay at this level for a while, building, expanding, gaining more proficiency. Intro to more
advanced verb tenses (perfect, subjunctive, etc.) and build vocabulary like crazy. You are
definitely on your way!

with CHEF ADELA MONZON.
(and enjoy the delectable meal together!)
Sample menu: Pozole rojo o sopa azteca con tortilla, sopes de pollo con frijoles y mole, arroz mexicano,
salsa verde made in a molcajete, ponche de frutas. Mmmmmm!
